Kawartha Lakes Tourism Study

Client: Management Board Secretariat, Government of Ontario, Canada

Project: Documented the current state of IT awareness and usage by tourism operators in the Kawartha Lakes region and conducted supply chain analysis of tourism sector in Kawartha Lakes to identify gaps in IT usage and opportunities for cost savings and new revenues using IT and broadband.

Conducted: January – April 2005

Results: Characterized gaps in IT usage by the tourism industry in Kawartha Lakes and provided recommendations, with actionable items, on how those gaps could be closed.
