Project: Conducted economic gap analysis of region and prepared economic development plan for investing in broadband and ICT in Elgin County, Ontario.
Conducted: February – September 2004
Results: Identified economic drivers and types of businesses in Elgin County that would benefit from IT and broadband. Developed a plan to assist local community and business leaders accelerate the uptake of IT and broadband and shorten the path for economic growth. Identified under-serviced business sectors necessary for diversified, robust local economy.
